French Provinces
This 3 day tour covers the following three French regions : Normandie, Bretagne and the Val de Loire. Discover the diversity of the countryside and enjoy the culture & rich history of these areas.
Day 1 : Paris - Saint Malo. Departure from the Cityrama agency : 4 Place des Pyramides 75001 Paris. We cross the western areas of Paris as far as the Porte d'Auteuil to catch the Normandy motorway. Drive through the Normand bocage. Avranches - Mont-Saint-Michel visit and free time for lunch in the village. We continue to Port de Cancale by the bay road - short photo stop at the Grouin point. Dinner and overnight at Saint-Malo : Hotel Océania (or similar).
Day 2 : Saint Malo - Angers. Panoramic tour of Saint-Malo and time for shopping - Dinard - stop at Cap Fréhel - the Sables d'Or beach and free time for lunch. Guided tour of Rennes. Dinner and overnight at Angers : Hotel Mercure Lac du Maine (or similar).
Day 3 : Angers - Poitiers. Orientation tour of Angers - Brissac Castle (private and inhabited). We take the route de la Loire (one of France's most picturesque routes) - Cunault. Outside view of the Saumur castle and free time for lunch. Visit of the decorative vegetable garden of the Château de Villandry and the Château d'Azay-Le-Rideau. Dinner and overnight at Poitiers : Hotel Best Western Bois de la Marche (or similar).
Included in the tour price : Luxury air-conditioned Cityrama transport; Entrance fees for guided visits; Hotel accommodation in 3* hotels (double room with bath or shower); Dinner & buffet breakfast every morning; Hotel porterage service; Services of a Cityrama guide throughout the trip (English and Spanish).
Cancellation fees : No refund for tours interrupted at clients own will or for unused portions.
Cancellations up until 20 days prior to departure date : no charge. Cancellations between 20 and 7 days prior to departure date : 30% of total price.
Cancellations between 7 and 1 day prior to departure date : 50% of total price.
Cancellation or no show on departure date : 100% of the circuit price.
