A combination of our Versailles Apartment and Fontainebleau-Barbizon tours at a special reduced rate. Guided visits of both Versailles and Fontainebleau with the possibility of taking tours on alternative days and in alternative order.
In the beautifully decorated State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors and Queen's apartments)our guide will enthrall you on the life of the Kings. After the visit, enjoy free time visiting palace gardens.
The Fontainebleau Palace was lavishly built and furnished in Renaissance period style and was a favourite hunting residence of the French Kings. The apartments recently restored were occupied by Napoleon and are included in this tour. Our half day tour to Fontainebleau includes a short stop at the Barbizon village which has been known as an artistic centre since the 19th century when Jean-François Millet and Robert-Louis Stevenson lived there.
Note : Since 1st October 2000 through to 31st March 2001, the Versailles section of the tour does not operate on the 1st Sunday of each month and the Fontainebleau section does not operate on the 1st Sunday of each month + on 1st November, 24th & 31st December.
